I see you post all the time on the 67-72 board, and now I actually get to see some pics. Looks nice, but I'm not sure you'll be happy with that engine/trans combo, so since I'm a nice guy, I'd come and take that off your hands......

Thanks!
LOL, I hope it turns out like I want..

very nice, love the truck, color, wheels, etc. the new engine/trans will be the perfect compliment. Only thing that I think would be cool would be AWD, but otherwise, one of my dream trucks.

LOL, I wish I had you here to help me troubleshoot it. I've got an issue on the right side with some bad misfires, but I think I might have an idea about what the problem is. Hopefully I'll know by tomorrow....

How is that serpentine belt routed. I have been thinking of a supercharger like that but my belt is already around 117" long. I also have the A/C compressor located in the same position. The alternator and power stearing pump are on the other side.

Got the exhaust on and it seems to have cured some of the issues I have had with my fuel trims. Lesson learned, NEVER try to mess with the tune unless you have a completed exhaust system!!!

Custom length, DSS one piece driveshaft.

Do you have any other specific questions?

mainly interested in how they adapted to the fixed yoke on the 6l80. looks like a billet adapter with a cv joint. Is the rear end side a U-joint? How much axial play does the cv allow when the rear moves through its travel?

You are correct, billet adapter and Porsche CV joint. I have a 1350 u-joint connecting to the differential. I think there is a little over an inch of travel on the CV joint. On my suspension, there was only a 1/8" of movement through full travel of the suspension. I measured it 50 times before I pulled the trigger, LOL. Call Frank at the DSS and talk to him about what you are doing. I'm sure he will give you some good advice on what you should do and how to take the measurements.
