You probably should go with a 4 bar setup. I would call Nate Porter at PBFAB, if he doesn't have what you need, he will build it. http://www.pbfab.com/

Hi Rob,
Appreciate the info. You and your son have really nice projects - congrats.
pbfab doesn't seem to have products for Ford trucks, though they do look nice. I'm leaning towards WelderSeries - 4 link kit - I will build my own, then. The earlier Ford doesn't have as much off the shelf stuff as 1953 to 1955.
cheers,

Doug

Doug I would call him. I'm pretty sure he makes what you need and I know for a fact his website is not updated with everything truck that he makes kits for.

I'm looking to do a similar swap with a LSA engine and 6l90e trans. What motor mounts and transmission crossmember are you using? Also did the transmission clear the tunnel without modification?

I used CPP stands and Dirty Dingo slider mounts for the motor. I modified a CPP tranny mount for the transmission. You have to install a factory high hump tranny cover in order for the transmission to fit.

Nice build man! How do you like the Doug Thorley headers? I'm probably going with them but the spark plug access looks like a nightmare!

Thanks. They are DTH 323YC's, 1 7/8". Access is great, I can change all 8 plugs in about 20-25 minutes.

Trucks look great! Boosted LS3! That's a serious tire roaster you got there.
