Awesome, thanks. The Pro Flo XT is 10.2" tall but the highest point is 3.2" forward of the driver's side front most intake manifold bolt center. That setup looks to be 10"-1 spacer", for about 9" total, and maybe an inch or so in front of the same bolt.
If I drop the engine another 3/4" I bet I would have enough clearance under the stock hood and I could still run the 1/4" bumpsteer setting instead of the 3/8" bumpsteer setting, without cutting the fbody oil pan.
I wonder how much space could be picked up my cutting off the TB flange and welding it back on upside down. There looks to be more space consumed at the top by the IAC than consumed at the bottom. For the price of the elbow I'm willing to gamble stuff like that. Not so interested in cutting up something expensive.
Thanks.

Update..
So got the car over to the dyno.. Had a few issues. 1st issue was we are unable to maintain a certain boost. So the 46 mm precision wastegate is either to small or positioned wrong. 2nd throttle started sticking alittle but one time all the way. So i ordered a lokar cable hoping its not the wilson throttle body. But the car did 902whp at 15psi. 3rd issue, i had 12 quarts of fluid in the trans recommended 13.5 and it was spitting out the over flow all day. It said full on the dipstick but i never properly marked the aftermarket stick. So got through the dyno pulled it off put it in reverse and just started whining. Long story short the trans was over filled at 12 quarts so it stopped spitting when i figured out where it needed to be but still had no reverse. Tranny is going back to the builder. Ordered another wastegate and moved the one i had. So going to run 2 46mm.

What transmission dipstick were you using? AS for the wastegate, also make sure that you had zero leaks. I pressure checked mine and had a small leak at the wastegate which was making it creak up to 21 psi on a "15 psi spring" with my dual 38mm wastegates. If it is not seeing all the boost it will creep up. But dual 46mm will definitely get the job done!

I could be wrong but just by how much air was coming out of the wastegate dump it seemed undersized. We put a 3 lb spring in it with boost controller all the way down 11 psi was lowest it would go. I triple checked every vac line and pipe.
The dipstick is a lokar flexible stick. And for my setup my stick actually reads 100% correct. But I didnt think it was since I had 12 qts and and it showed a bit over filled according to the stick. I had to remove the stick, remove the extra fluid until it was level with the top of the pan. Then put the stick and and sure enough it was right on full.
So for my setup my 4l80e only holds around 11 qts full.

Are you wanting to run under 11 psi? I guess it is a little late, but if you are not wanting to run under 11 psi I don't see a real issue honestly. Crappy about the transmission. I have a 4l80e from jakes and honestly do not know exactly how much fluid is in it. I just kept adding until it read full. Seems fine so far. Fingers crossed on that one as I can't afford a new transmission. But then I am sure I am putting less stress on it with my little 5.3 than with your monster 408!

Yea its pretty easy to figure how much fluid just pull the dipstick and put something in until it hits bottom of pan. Car sitting level, Then measure how deep the spot is vs how deep the pan is and jake says it should be full with the pan or preferably 1/4" above. So mine when hot was 1/4" above after i got it figured out. My trans builder is paying to have the tranny shipped back to them to figure out the issue.
