Default Accelerator Pedal

I plan on putting a 2008 or 2009 G8 engine (L76) in my Biscayne and I'm wondering what accelerator pedals are interchangeable for these years. I plan on using the DBW and need to purchase a pedal now so I can mock it up.

+1. Matter of fact, my factory 72 C10 pedal pad fit on this perfectly!

Any idea if this pedal will work with the L33? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the DBW stuff and I've heard that most pedals should work and then I was told that a specific few had to be used.

Gen III (your 03-05 pedal) has a separate TAC module. Gen IV (07+, E38) does not have a TAC module, the pedal plugs directly into the engine harness. Your older pedal unfortunately will not work on your E38 ECM.

Let me know if this is a thread hi-jack, and I'll start a new thread with his question.

Just got a LC9 complete with harness, PCM & plastic pedal out of a 2010 Silverado. It is my understanding the TAC is in the PCM.

the plastic pedal assembly is massive. Do I have any options to go with a metal pedal ?
