Default Anyone Use "Affordable Fuel Injection" Engine Harness? UPDATE-I HAVE

I thought I had researched pretty much every vendor for a stand alone engine harness then I found these guys yesterday. I like that they used a closed braided wrap and the Bussman box. I spoke with them yesterday and they seem enthusiastic about building a harness with some custom features that I am looking for.

Does anyone have any feedback on these guys?

Never seen them before either. From the web site and pictures, the harness looks good and they use good quality parts.

I am updating this because I just received a custom harness from Affordable Fuel Injection. Overall I am very impressed with the service and product. My harness was built with a few features not available in an off the shelf product. Here are some of my harness needs.

-MAP reference for the fuel pump controller to provide fuel pressure rise with boost. MAP wires integrated in the harness to pass into interior.

-6 ft main harness extension to mount ECM, TCM, and fuse box on the front passenger fender.

-Custom length and position O2 sensor pigtails.

-Specific main feed, OBD, DBW, and fuel pump signal branches.

I initially called and spoke with Andy to find out what they were capable of. He was happy to answer all my questions and seemed confident that all my needs would be met. When I was ready I put together a diagram of the harness branches and lengths and email it to Andy at AFI.

The harness looks great and has everything I requested. While I have not installed and run it, communication has been very good and I have no worries if I need support.

Small labels on each connector is a nice touch and don't need to be removed.

High temp sleeve by the starter.

2 friends have used him before. 1 we had no issues, the other one the o2 sensors were wired incorrectly. Not a big deal but for someone that isn't good with wiring, it could be an issue. From ordering to receiving it was quick!

Never used their product but they have been around a long time. Back around 2000 I sold their buddy a 64 C10 2wd short fleet big window. I had put in a 350 with a crossfire and was running a newer Silverado fuel management on it. They found it for their friend and he bought it on their reccomendation. Saw it a few years later and it had a ram jet. Ahhhh, memories.

Yes, it was a brand new harness. I has a few custom things done like an extended main harness and some auxiliary stuff for the boost referenced fuel pump control.

The weather proof fuse box is nice. Provides more mounting options.

I agree. Definitely like that. And I like the layout of the website when choosing options.

When I'm ready for the harness for my LQ9 Volvo, I'll definitely be checking them out more.

Andy, does Jim still have the short/wide 64 C10 I sold to him back around 2000 or so?

That's awesome. I loved that truck and saw it quite a few years ago at Midland, he had put Cragers on it and it looked great. Thanks for the update and tell Jim that Lance says hi.
