LS water pump spacers -- 3"
Anyone know where I can get 3" waterpump spacers? I want to use the GM distributor drive timing cover on a build with a Corvette waterpump rather than the expensive Stewart pump with the long legs. I'd be able to use my existing accessory drive too spaced out accordingly.
I know I can double up 1 1/2" spacers but want to use a single if I can depending on cost. Two sets of 1 1/2 would cost $120 so it has to be something already made rather than made to order as that is usually very expensive.
Thanks in advance.

I need the 3" pump spacers to clear the GM distributor drive timing cover. Not concerned with pulley offset at the moment. That comes later and I think I have it covered, this is where the Corvette pump will help. The spacers will push the offset out, the Corvette pump will bring it back in some.
I've built my own accessory drive which uses an ATI balancer so I can make the crank pulley offset whatever I want essentially. But, less offset is better here.
The GM drive is this one in case your not familiar with it, GMPP 88958679.

We see. Maybe you can probably make use of the Hooker accessory drive spacers. Two thick sets, perhaps.
With a clutch fan on a truck coolant pump, it could all fit underhood behind the radiator of a '70 Grand Prix or Monte Carlo. With a Chevelle fan shroud so the blades line up with the round end of it.

It's not a matter of pulley offset, the cover is 3" thicker.
Thanks for the suggestion, just need to know if anyone has seen 3" water pump spacers for sale. I've checked a few vendors online and can only find 1 1/2" so I may just have to double them up.

Thank you 67Skylark. Found some pictures including side profiles. That may work with 1 1/2" spacers and minimize belt offset too. The pass see of the pump may still be an issue because of the shape of that pump.
Anyone have a used one they want to sell reasonable? Acdelco sells for $120 shipped.

jimmyg, understand what you were trying to say in the earlier post. I was not aware the 2010 Camaro pump accommodates the VVT, got that now. I do know what the offset is for Truck/late Camaro, early Camaro and Corvette. I've ordered a 2010 pump online and I already have some 1 1/2" spacers. Hopefully I get the pump Saturday to give it a try.
This is my current drive I made for my Chevelle. I may have to modify the alternator bracket because of the driverside pump outlet. And readjust the other brackets to align the belt. Should not be a problem but I will find out. Getting the timing cover sorted is my biggest obstacle and hopefully we've solved that.
Thanks again for all the suggestions.

Jimbo1367, I don't have any side pictures. What is it that you would like to know? Belt offset is 5/8" more forward than the truck offset, it's the only way to get the alternator located in front of the head. Otherwise you have to cantilever them out.
Thanks for the Wegners reminder. They have some that are 2 13/16". They are $46 each plus shipping. They make some of the nicest drives out there including one for this style timing cover. Currently there website is under construction but they have a bunch of pictures scrolling to see some of what they make/build.

The 2010 Camaro pumps fits with 1 1/2 spacers, no factory gaskets as the spacer has O-rings seals on both sides. The pump will need some modification to allow the distributor to be installed. In the next week I will get a distributor and fuel pump to be certain they clear the pump before working on the accessory drive.
I will start a new thread to show the rest of the GMPP cover installation with the spacers in case anyone else is interested in going this route.
Thanks for all the suggestions and tips.
