Default Cheap & Quiet set of 2.5" mufflers

I'm looking for a set of cheap oval mufflers that are as quiet as OEM with a single 2.5" centered inlet and 2.5" offset outlet.

I've read that turbo mufflers are not as loud as chambered mufflers. Would you agree with that?

Here are some cheap turbo mufflers I've found that are about the right size. Do you know if any of these are quiet?

Thrush 17715 4.25x9.75x14
FlowTech 50052 4.5x10x13
Dynomax 17715 4.25x9.75x14
Jones Exhaust JUB911 4x9x14
AP Exhaust 6494 4.25x8.75x14
AP Exhaust 690503 4.06x10.5x14
Summit Racing SUM-631225 4.75x10x13

Here are a few chambered mufflers too

Walker 17615 4.25x9.75x14
Thrush 17656 4x9.5x13
Jones Exhaust FB2541 4x9x13
Summit Racing SUM-638222 4x10x13

Dynomax Super Turbos are much quieter than any chambered muffler.

And use the longest one that will fit.

I found out that half these mufflers are made by the same company!

Tenneco makes Thrush, DynoMax and Walker. I didn't list any Monroe models, but they make those too.

2.5 inch exhaust, X or H-pipe, mufflers and full length pipes to the back of the car bumper and you will be without drone or cackle. Its been proven time and time again. Avoid the straight through glass pack design and it will be quiet.

Nope, not any longer. Just 40 years of car modification experience and some engineering stink on me. :-)

I have a 3 car garage at my place but no longer work on other peoples vehicles due to personal health concerns. Where are you located and what work do you need done.

This for the 70 Camaro? You can get a pretty long turbo muffler under it. Short mufflers will be loud.

I buy the Thrush ones because they are cheap at Canadian Tire up here and are definitely NOT quiet...
