Default 91 notchback ls1/60e swap

always daydreamed of a ls1 swap in a notchback.it had to be a super clean mustang and had to be a ls1 with a 4l60e. Found me a one owner 91 coupe about a year ago.on 4-18-2017 i bought me a wrecked 2001 camaro.
my expectations are to run 10s on nitrous in a daily driver style car on radials.

the 4l60e can be made to survive but needs to be upgraded. I'm sure it will become better as parts start becoming more available. My 4l60e has 2 years of hard passes and many street miles but was expensive to build right. 4l80e is stronger stock and anybody can get good longevity out of them as they are strong to begin with.
Just like a glide when they first where becoming popular and everybody laughed as how weak they where and junk but time and parts, now they can handle 2000 hp easy lol.

made first bone head mistake if u have a 4 cylinder do not buy strange struts as they do not fit the 4 cylinder spindle ears.
4 cylinder spindles measure
4/6 cyl-1.07
v8-.77

so plan is to
1.return strange and buy lakewoods
2.mill ears or struta to fit
3.if return gets denied sell for a loss on craigslist and run the stockers

for the foxbody ls swap owners with 4l60e.
will the motor and trans slide right in from the top or do they have to be seperated.also does the trans tunnel need to modified?
fuel system is here and will post part#s once its all installed

They will go in together, I had my car raised about 8" on all 4 corners and the engine/trans was at a pretty steep angle, I wouldn't put any accessories on the front. The tunnel is large enough, the only issue is the cooler lines where they come out of trans, that had to be massaged.

make the strange work, night and day difference on shock valving. I had Lakewood, then Strange, and now VariShocks DA, each was a big difference in launch and setup. Yep same here on the 4l60e fits pretty easy. I wish I remember how exactly how we did it. but the stock shifter will work. I'm now also using the stock shifter for my glide.
