Default 04 gto parts on f body

I have a 00 trans am that’s a roller and my brother just killed his 04 m6 gto can i use everything out of the gto for the trans am ?

You will need to change the oil pan, motor mounts and shifter.

if your brother parts the car out can you let me know. I need a steering shaft bolt. thx

Does the GTO have a 24x reluctor wheel?

If it's an '04 it does have the 24x reluctor. The 58x would not be out for another few years

2004-2006 GTO’s never made the switch they are all 24x reluctors, yes even the 2005-2006 GTO LS2 are 24x
I think only the Corvette & Trailblazer LS2 were 58x reluctors.

You are going to have to address the output shaft on the GTO t56. The GTO uses a flex disc tripod and trans am uses a slip yoke, solid axle with suspension vs irs. Not sure but I believe the output shaft has to be changed

The majority of the 24x/58x switcheroo took place in the 07 model year. BUT not all of it....

On a gto mn12 t56 you can simply unbolt the tri-flange and wha la you have plenty of spline for a slip yoke. Nothing has to be changed.
