Post One more Foxbody coup LS swapped 408 stroker

Trying this again because my other thread failed to upload, not sure what the issues are.
Here is my winter project, making this thread to give me some motivation to finish it hopefully.

The car: 1992 Fox body mustang coup lx with 190xxx km. Mostly stock with minor upgrades like bigger rad and electric fan.
New Engine: 2002 Lq4 bored .030 over and fitted with an eagle forged stroker kit. Other goodies include:
-LS7 Gm lifters
-BTR stage 3 stroker cam
-Melling oil pump
-Comp cams trunion upgrade
-PAC dual valve springs
-SBI int/Exh valves
-ARP Headstuds
-rebuilt+ported 317 cylinder heads (not really upgrading these because I plan on going boosted and have heard these are decent for boost)
-Holley 102 mm TB and mid-ram intake
-1 7/8" headers from speed engineering
-65# injectors

Going to be throwing in a lot of upgrades to the foxbody chassis, suspension and handling systems such as:
-Flaming river manual rach and pinion with low profile steershaft
-converting to sn95 5-lug front end with GT brakes and cobra master cylinder
-strange engineering front coilovers
-team z tubular k member and control arms
-have a built 94 5 lug, disc brake rear end that I purchased off a fellow foxbody enthusiast
-rear QA-1 coil over kit
-rear maximum motor sports lower control arms
-dual adjustable upper control arms (UPR I think)
-moser 31 spline axles
-c-clip eliminators
-gonna upgrade the fuel system to 450 LPH in tank with -8 feed and -6 return
-UPR upper and Lower torque box reinforcements
-sub-frame connectors think they are MM

Gonna lay the power down through a Tremec T-56 magnum 6 speed with a Monster twin disc clutch all rated for 700 ft lbs hoping to get 500/500 rw on an NA setup.

Got some of the interior done..

this thing is by no means a daily but I still want to be able to cruise in it and maybe go on the odd short road trip, so I added a bunch of sound mat.

Thanks, it is actually really clean only real rust was a bit in the engine bay and some under the licence plate. Wouldn't believe the amount of **** I got from the local fox body group when I started the swap haha

Yeah, screw the absolute brand loyalty...it's your property, do what you want with it.

The four-eyed Fox guys and SVO fans are particularly rabid, so at least it's not one of those.

When I got tired of turbo V6 stuff in my '03 (which I've owned since new), I didn't even give serious consideration to any of the popular Ford options--the 302 isn't a good foundation for big power unless you switch to an aftermarket block, and the modular V8s are huge, so I wouldn't want to build a turbo system around one of those. Aside from the Coyote, none of them even make decent NA power.

I agree, the amount of reliable power you can gain for way less money is just not comparable. I know multiple people pushing 700-800 rwhp on stock bottom ends with the 5.7L. sure its a ticking time bomb but the fact they even hold up to that for a little bit is nuts.

got to do doing some of the interior.....

gonna leave the seats out for now, picked up some of performance world's seats, forgot to take pictures but they fit decent when I mocked em up. the new carpet from ACC or whatever LMR gets it from works quite decent, pretty much just site perfectly in place. my only qualm is with the rubber matting for the driver, i feel it could be about 3" or so more to the drivers side.

rear seat delete kit from lmr goes together easily enough and really cleans up the back of the car. it is quite flimsy (got the 1/4" plywood one) but only 12 lbs so can't complain there. I might brace under the bottom sheet with some 2x4 so the I could potentially throw stuff on top, but I should probably just use the trunk aha.
