I'm waiting for the National Lampoon quotes and jokes. I would have driven that wagon all over hell and creation.

I love that car. I was a teenager when that movie came out. Just imagine what I was thinking when I saw that large open rear space, before being filled with luggage.

Yeah, its probably one of the most photographed cars at the show! It was good meeting you today, glad you stopped by and chatted for a while.

Funniest thing about that car is most people don't even see all the details on it.

Hadn't seen that one, but saw some similar ones. Apparently most people who took pics of it put it on Facebook!

Well, it's been a while since I updated this, so let me see where I left off. After replacing the one destroyed wheel bearing and packing them all with grease, I was able to move it out into the street to be able to use the garage to work on the wagon a bit. It needs wheels and a bed in a real bad way!

Made some brackets to mount the 3 point seatbelts.

Mounted in the truck they look like this. Worked out pretty good, the driver's side clears the gas tank with no problems.

Dude, I hope you don't mind people being jealous of you, but I AM! That is one CLEAN truck! Can only improve with the addition of a bed!

Nice work man. Just throw some trailer lights on and go!

I got your text and replied but didn't hear from you, I wondered if you fell off the planet for a bit. Haha

I did kind of fall off the face of the earth for a while I guess. Haven't been working on the truck as hard as I should lately. As for the text, i was just wondering what those things go for. I'll explain next time i see you!

Cool. Now I'm curious to see what's rolling around your head. Haha

I tried to use my phone the next day and it was locked up so I restarted it but didn't know how long it was stuck. I didn't realize you hadn't replied until I was busy at work then forgot again when things slowed down.

I see that you made your own AC lines, but I never saw a picture of the fitting(s) you used on the compressor. Can you share how you did that end of the lines and how it looks down my the frame rail?

Just went thru your thread, great project. Getting me all fired up to get started on my 72, just need to finish the 54 first.

Good to see the way your maintaining much of the original equipment and look! Hope you had fun in Texas at the GG event. My buddy and I are going on the Hall of Fame Tour in September and ending there...

Keep up the good work!
