'71 Chevelle - LS1/T56 - In progress
#202
Working on getting the motor together now. Hopefully I should be running w/ the ghetto body package in the next few months, give or take 6 months.
This is my only recent pic:
Waiting for a set of 243's I picked up. Need to finish the firewall still, brake lines, fuel lines need a little more work and rewire the car. Body work will start after it's on the road. Watch out for a beat up *** looking '71 Chevelle.
I can't wait to go cruising.
My fiance's brother had a kidney transplant last week. He's only 23. All is going well so far, but keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Stealth.. the project is picking up speed again.. keep on it.. !
My thought are with you and your fiance's brother, My Brother just when through quad bypass 6 weeks ago.. He is do well.. but in the mean time, i am swapping out his 89 GMC 1/2t engine for another one (just a stocker), It has a blown head gasket and I didn't want him stressing over it and so I am doing it for him. He will be able to drive it soon... if it aint one project, its another.. LOL

Should wish you other Chevelle guys were closer .. we could all make a cruzin ! I have been talking offline from the forum to a few other Chevelle guys here in NorCal.
I know that at all of the drive-in and shows I goto, I have turned heads and get a lot of question.. even tho my swap is very plain and stock looking (not much Blink !), as compared to some of you other Chevelle Guys. The two tone paint and the LS1 with the the Cowl Induction CAI seem to draw attention. I even got a trophy at one show, "Outstanding Award", I was shocked. But it was nice to know that my work and planning was noticed..
So.. once your is together and painted. It will draw a lot of attentions ! Keep up the good work. So.. get with it !

Ya keep up the good work guys we gotta keep each other motivated haha. It is too bad we all live so far apart though. Maybe one year we should all road trip it on the power tour or chevellabration.

Yeah.. I guess I Got the Gen III/IV bug. Already have both of them in side yard....
71 Nove is all stock with a 6 cyl and 2 speed trans.. 33k original miles but body needs some work.
48' Ford Truck.. 64k original miles, been in storage since 1975, all original so far but needs restoration... trying to start it up now, but need to clean out the fuel system, get the brakes working and change electrical to 12+ system. Then be the old guy in the old truck driving around town ! LOL
