My custom cam finally got in. Now I'm just waiting on GM to ship the caddy lifters. Time to finish up my other projects.

Ok. I've been busy and had to go out of town for a funeral, so not much got done this past week. Still waiting on lifters from GM, but they should ship around the 5th. Just been trying to get some work done on the firewall.

Here's a pic of work in progress:

I also mounted the gas tank again and had to take some of the curve out of the filler neck and weld it back together. Hopefully I will get some more done this week.

Weird, I added a post and there was a database error. I guess it didn't get a bump.

Looks like the forum is acting up.

yep, thought that looked familiar. Looks like it's working out good; I might have to give that a try myself when mine comes back apart for detailing (not in the near future). Keep up the good work and updates

Wow am I a slacker. Haven't touched the car much. Looks like my motor parts are hopefully going to ship finally after waiting for over 4 months for these damn caddy lifters. After I get the rest of these parts I will be posting some more progress over the following weeks. Stay tuned.

Wow, your project looks awsome. I just had to rip mine back apart again because i finaly could afford the headers and I have been waiting on that so i could set the permanent hight on the tranny so i get the right pinion angle, and now i get to rework my tranny tunnel again and put my ac in yay.

Thanks. Picked up my parts today. I finally have them in my hands. Just ordered some valve springs. The motor will start going together this week and hopefully get some work done on the firewall too.

Sorry, but it's kinda a secret. Don't really want to let it out yet. It's a custom grind and pretty big.
