Default fuel tank sump kits

anyone used one of these ?

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...66&D=%2D118366

it looks like it should solve the possible starvation problem of using an inline pump.
i saw this on someones car here... but i can't remember who

in some tanks it has to go to the lowest point but that car you posted is a street/race car from the looks of the 12 bolt and the drag radials. In that case the sump being at the rear of the tank is obviously the best place. A hard launch and all the fuel runs to the rear of the tank..... no starving there!! Also, that tank is pretty flat compared to say, an f-body tank. Now a late-model f-body BETTER be at the lowest point!!

Question, what car are you gong to use this on ? and what are you going use this car for (Race, Street, Strip ?)

Threads on Sumping a tank have come up many times. try Searching.

Warning, This is not a DOT approved modification, the Local Police and Highway Patrol might not like what they see. Tickets $$$ will the the results. Unsafe on the street and highways, as the feed lines are exposed during rearend crashes. But if you want to do it.. it does works. Also look into the Tank's INC intank pump and sump.

that is my 2 cents.
