Camaro shell fit on C5 chassis?
Just Curious, anyone have work on any F-Body Camaro shell put on Corvette C5 Rolling Chassis w/ LS1Engine? Will fit on C5 Chassis?
I saw EBay>http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=220291197899
I do have 2001 camaro shell is on sale in Lx Sales section. If no luck on my Camaro shell sale, I would do something on it. Any Idea???

Sorry - I resisted posting that for literally hours...
(FWIW, I think that '726.0chevelle' is correct.)

If you want to fab a pro-touring style frame for the Camaro shell to sit on, that would be the easiest way to go about it. You would need to extend the torque-tube a few inches, but that isn't too big a deal. A lot of circle track sites and shops can help you with the tube, sprint cars and some kinds of modifieds still run them.

c5 or c6 z06 corvette on a 1969 body
Jeff,
I am resonding to your question about feasibility of c5 to first Gen Camaro. I am almost done with this project. I took a 69 Camaro and adapted a c5 z06 complete drive line and it is awesome. We will start the same project with a c6 z06 in 2 months. The mods to the body are minimal and the chassis is made to adapt to the body, allowing 2 bucket seats in back(functional), no tubbing and a nearly complete trunk. Torque tube lengthened 3.5 inches. Stance of car is great, using stock rims and tires. Wheel wells in front and back have very minimal body work (rolled out about 1/4 inch). Anyone wanting to buy the chassis and general body mod guidelines may do so by contacting me.

High quality parts cost high prices to produce here in the US!
Read though all 8 pages of this thread to get a grasp for the detail I put into my products. That car is epic and ATS helped make that possible; I'm proud of that. We make quality parts that fit as well as they function. We're not for everybody!
