I've got one of my buddies talked into doing an LSX swap in his 02 GT mustang, and we are looking for info. We need to compile a list of EVERYTHING we can find that we need.
Does anyone make LSX swap mounts yet?
Anyone know of a place to mate the computers?

Please search, its been covered a few times. AJE makes a K member with LSX motor mounts. Other than that it depends on what you want. Be prepared to do a little fabrication but the swap is pretty straightforward.

The computers wont "mate" at all. Probably be easiest to just put autometers or something in the cluster and wire it separate.

yeah its not terribly hard, look at some of the fox conversion threads aswell because under it all theyre very similar cars

 

Why ruin a good car, tell him to sell it for a v6 mustang so he has a few extra grand and he isn't ruining a nice Ford.

 

he can use the 4.6 k-member and modify the motor mounts to fit....thats the route im going to take with my 95....

as far as wiring goes, either a standalone gm engine harness and computer (like Speartech among others) or go megasquirt or DFI or FAST or BS3...
