1990 miata

well as a few of you know i raced a miata on a mountain.. i won but was very impressed with the little car so i picked up a 1990 for 1100 today.. i put it on my neighbors rollback and pulled it all of 5 miles to my house.. now i'm probably not doing a v8 or v6 swap i want it to keep it's near 50/50 weight.. i'm thinking of doing a 2.4 ecotec swap.. or quite possibly 2.2 honda

An all aluminum LSx motor weighs abou the same as an Iron block Honda motor but more than the aluminum Ecotec. Just the same, I'd go V8.

Yeah if you want a 4 banger find a FWD to drop it in...leave the RWD cars for people wanting V8 swaps! Just kidding...I've been looking for a Miata to drop an LT1 in.

It is not "easy" but it has been done a few times now. They have alot of kits going out as we speak. Boss Frog is another company putting out kits. I'm still back and fourth on which to go with.

www.ls1miata.net my site 1 of 3 who did it 4 years ago. I am at 470rwhp right now! F'n fast it is. I videos on streetfire.net Look up Ls6 miata or the member name boostdz. That 300zx is over 550rwhp. Hope this helps!
