2" sch 10 is the large section of the log. These turbos are v band mount so round not rectangular t4 style. The single turbo setup was 2.5" 16 gauge exhaust pipe to a undivided t4(1/2" thick). Hope that helps!

Is it best to gap the top piston rings from 0.015 to 0.028 when running 20-30 psi on lq4. My setup lunati cam 581/588 lift 117 lobe seperation. Arp studs/rod bolts, stock 317 heads, Vic Jr intake with 6ls box,not sure what brand blow through carb yet, and Ngk platinum plugs.

You will never ever make something like that survive, stock atleast. Rods/pistons/crank.

28 thou is the hype yes, Skinnies and Modular(I think) along with several others are going 8's without touching the rings or head gaskets or rod bolts.

I am looking at using the same turbos on my 9.5 cr forged 370 with AFR 225s. How quickly do they spool up with the stock 6.0 you have?

With 9.5 I'd say the turbos would be coming on hard around 3600 depending on timing and how agressive the tune is.

get the .81 a/r's and you'll be making awesome power!! .96a/r will be turddddy

Question on this map sensor - do you know what yr/engine this would be from, and does it install into the intake as the truck one would? Thanks!

just read through this whole thread and it really makes me want to sell the small block out of my monte right now and try to get a turbo LS in it before summer

but anyway, i have a few questions, sorry if any of them have already been asked, i must have missed them, but when the motor "let go" what exactly happened? cracked rings and ring lands? what could you build for boost with the 3600rpm converter on a launch? what rear gears are in the car? and what did it get for mileage? thanks in advance!

What stall are you running and where do they start to come in on your motor?

DOOO IT! you will love it haha.

No idea what went. Started knocking and smoking. Fire saled the drivetrain, pulled the cam from the engine, springs, rods, pan and put the rest behind my shed haha.

With a MSD 2 step foot braking the car I could get 5-8psi depending on where the 2 step was set. 3:42 gears in the rear. IF I drove the car nice it would get 24-26mpg. But thats rare as I honestly just abuse it everywhere I go.

Was a Yank 3600. Boost would come on very hard around 3200 on the street if I just hammered it from a stop with no brake boosting.

I know you drive the car hard, how safe do you feel with the spacers on. Wheels I want for my project my project arent correct offset and not sure how I feel pushing it too hard on spacers ill need.

Hub centric spacers with high quality studs you are OK. People run into problems when they go with a non-hub centric spacer that all the weight of the car is resting on the studs which is not how it is designed to work. H&R or Adaptec and your good to go!

alright my car has a "3500" stall in it right now but with the current motor it doesnt stall until 3600-3700, hopefully it'll be enough for a turbo LS, what did you run for an ECU/tuning software?

I pitch it into corners just as hard. They are hub centric so I have zero worries about them. What scares me is longer wheel studs and just a spacer plate. These are adapters so each corner in the front has 10 lug nuts.
