You could look into using an 03-04 Cobra yoke as they also came with T-56's and the output shaft should have the same spline count.
that's a question I've been wondering, posted a thread about it. I came to the conclusion that I'm going to have to buy an aftermarket bellhousing which does have the cutout for the fork even on the LS1 T56 bellhousings and the pivot ball provision

It's cheaper and easier to just keep the hyd. clutch setup. Check out my OLD build thread in my sig. Also,I just happen to have another Thunderbird tubo coupe clutch pedal assembly. PM me your email address and I will send you a few more pictures of my set-up.

With the aje k-member, my drive shaft was 44'' from cap center to cap center( caps on the shaft) Don't take my word for it though. Measure yours! Just go to any driveline shop and tell them what you are doing.

the AJE has poly bushings and its not that bad, the only way to use a "rubber" mount is with the 4.6K and modified mounts

id classify it as marginal, the car has subframe connectors and a 6pt bar so its stiff anyway.

I have an '03 GT. Is there any way to mount the motor on the 3650 5 speed?

I've asked around and even messaged Keisler and they said no dice. The 3650 Bellhousing is integrated into the case and would have to be cut off and a custom adapter plate made to begin with. However, What I'm thinking about doing is finding someone that wants to trade me thier T-45 straight across out of thier Mustang and then I can use Keisler's kit to adapt and LSX to that, keep my cable clutch which I like, all mounts and everything already works without modding.

Will a 305/350 T5 bellhousing bolt up to an LS1?
Can I use a Ford T5Z with the chevy bellhousing?

Thanks

Also, depending on the oil pan used and if you are using the stock factory 4.6 K-member, you might need to notch the pan or K-member to clear the oil pan.

Here is a link to read on the motormounts:

That link seems to be dead.

With a budget in mind, has anyone here recently used a factory 4.6 K-member for a Fox LSx swap?

Quoting myself but I just read the following post by LS1hatchback from another thread. Looks like the 4.6 K-member isn't a very good option for the LSx Fox swap:

I am using the 4.6 K-member but the motor is yet to go into the car. Please be aware that if you use the iron block it does not have the same provisions for mounting as the aluminum motor.

It still can be done but it is not as simple as some write-ups make it. The third mount that you have to extend the factory 4.6 mount too is not present.

That's good info...hadn't read that before. I plan to use an LQ4, so a factory 4.6 K member seems even less of a good option.

Remember alot of people make the lsX k member/mounts now. Pa-racing and AJE just to name a few without stepping on any toes.

If you can fabricate simple mounts for various things, weld up an exhaust or anything along those lines I feel you should be able to tackle the 4.6 dilemma. I plan on writing up some info to contribute to the boards in the next coming weeks.

I have an '01 Mustang that is a factory v6 that I am swapping in a 5.3l/4l60E. I am going to try and keep the factory k member. I do have the ability to do my own fab work, so I will keep updates as I proceed! Gonna be a couple weeks minimum because of the weather. I've been told the v6 k member will also work by someone who's already done it.

Did a test fit with the 5.3 and v6 crossmember, doesn't look like it's gonna fit with the truck manifold and stock hood.New dilema, buy AJE crossmember or buy LS1 intake and water pump?
