Hasn't been an update on this in a while. I bought a house and have been really busy with that. Started the truck forthe first time on the new motor yessterday. All have have to do it bolt in my converter, put in my front prop shaft, and finish up my c5 front brakes(will do the rears later, I just want to drive this thing). Need to put 500miles on it and strap it to the dyno

Do you plan to keep the truck intake? I bet a Victor Jr would make more torque/horsepower and have better distribution so #7 doesn't fry again.
I would love to do this to a mid-90s 4-door Blazer 4X4.
Killer project!!

Why not do another Ty? If i were to do it all again I would have do it to a Ty to begin with. Getting one later wasnt so bad though

I have always liked the Syclone since I was little, better than the Typhoon...I just kinda ended up with a Ty at some point..by chance. I would like to do a max effort Sy build someday...who knows...

Here was my Ty back in the day....I put a TPI motor in it...blaaahhhhhhh

I have one with 18k and I don't think I could hack it up to be honest, but I occasionally see a few Syclones and Typhoons with no engine, which I wouldn't feel guilty cutting up since it'll never be numbers matching. Think I might just hop up the v6 a little and maybe later on find one with a bunch of miles or no engine to put a v8 and maybe some kinda maggie on it.
