That's what's time consuming about it..

With a Truck Harness, I would strip it all down, and run the Sensors that you need, then I would pin the PCM Connectors with the correct Pinouts for an F-body PCM, because thay will work alot better. It Can be done, it's just going to take a while.

The PCM's themselves are the same between the truck and fbody right? Could I not just have the truck one re flashed with an ls1 tune until I get the swap finished and trailer it to the tuner?

The only issue I have that I just dont understand is where the truck harness conects to the body harness, would the connections even be the same or totally different?

What does a ls1 harness out of an fbody go for? Any one have one they want to get rid of?

I got my Harness for $200, there are some on Ebay going for alot cheaper.

I don't know if a Truck PCM can be reflashed for a Car Tune, I don't see why it wouldn't be able to..

The Truck Wiring Harness I'm pretty sure connects with the Body with different Connectors, that is just something that will have to be traced out.

Did you confirm if the v6 tailshaft was the same as the LS1 tailshaft?

The Housings are the same as long as it's a 6-Bolt.

It is a 6 bolt and appears to be the same, but I havent found a tranny yet so Im waiting until I get a new one to pull the old off.

Not sure about his, but my 4L60e's bellhousing can't be removed. Which sucks because back in the day I spent $1750 rebuilding it.

Sman's is a two-piece, but Epro's may be a one piece, I say that judging by the year of his car in his sig.

The input shaft also has to be changed, and I was told the internals of the v6 tranny are not built to handle the v8 power, if it comes to doing that much work why not just buy a tranny at that point right?
