My Miata currently has my L33 block with the LS6 intake in it. It dynoed about 20 hp lower than when my LS1 block with LS6 cam and LS6 intake was in the car. I would recomend staying with an aluminum block regardless of displacement... Weight is the enemy! My car weighs under 2600 lbs with half a tank of fuel... Good Luck
