Have you checked your math? Meaning is you mileage accurate? Meaning is the computer set to your tire/gear combo? How are you measuring (not calculating) mileage? Is your odometer correctly registering? Does it need to be adjusted for the tire size?

i have a fully programmable autometer speedo. i have calibrated the speedometer with the mile markers on the highway. last night on the way home they had a radar trailer setup, WOOHOO!! i usually panic, but this time i was glad to see it. my speedo said 63 the sign said i was doing 62. i figure that is pretty close.

must be something wrong with both engine to only run top tens in 8th and lower 9's with lq9 in 8th. my 04 silverado 5.7 stock ran 9.11 in 8th and that was spinning the tires off
LOL, This has got to be the weirdest thing. I have a 99 GMC z71 ext cab. Came with a 5.3 I got 16 to 18 on hwy. with Shell 93. City 14 to 15 same gas. I put a 2004 lq9 out of a cad. and I am getting 16 city and 21 on the hwy with the 5.3 tune. ran 10.63 in the eigth with the 5.3 9.29 with the 6.0.
