i know that the injector plugs are different but those can be changed over to suit.

I beleve there are other differences as well, so, is it the same? No. Can it be made to work? I beleive so.

The PCM location is differant, which is a major differance. The truck harness has the PCM located on the drivers side front. They way the O2 sensors are routed is differant. The harness is made to go across the top of the intake. The alternator ans A/C compressor are in differant locations on the truck motor, so those plugs will be located differantly. The map sensor is located differantly. The MAF on the trucks is a 5 wire one with a built in IAT sensor, I think the F-body uses a seperate IAT sensor, so the MAF plug would be 3 wire. I guess just about everything is differant, but you can make it work

Depends on what car its going into, your budget, goals etc. Sometimes the truck motors are better, but depending on space the LS1 may be better.

Personally if I was going with boost, I'd use an iron truck motor.

You most likely will one a Iron block if your going to boost or juice it..

As far as the Wiring, it will be some work, but if you have all of the pinout diag.. and the time, you can pull apart the harness and re-route what you need, add and delete any item as required on your swap. You might just continue to research on the wiring and PCM question. John at Speartech or Jesse at Wait4meperformance and many of the other sponsers can help. Might post some PCM question in that forum.

Good luck.....
