Why the Ebay intercooler? A friend of mine tested one and found it would be a restriction at anything over 6-700hp. Guys are using them with more then that but may be leaving power on the table.

Thought I would update this thread. I haven't worked on the car for 3 months, but got a chance to work on it today. I started out by working on the down pipe. I fished it through the passenger side control arm and k member. As of right now it dumps right by the trans.

I also started on mounting my double pass radiator.

Tomorrow I work on the fuel system. I'm gonna run dual bosch 044's and an aeromotive fuel regulator.

Started cleaning up the passenger side inner fender apron. I made a template out of cardboard, then transfered to some sheet metal.

I have it tacked into place for now. I'll add filler and paint later on.
I also got the intercooler mounted

Started on some fuel plumbing

some cold side plumbing

More to come. waiting on some fuel fittings. I'll have to get a starter so I can finish my downpipe.

After mounting up the starter, I realized my downpipe wouldn't fit between the starter and the firewall. I tried going through the wheel well, but didn't have enough clearance from the tire. The only other way i could think was to go under the kmember. i tucked it up to the frame as close as i could. here it is all welded up.(sorry for the sloppy welds)

plans are to spray it with some bbq paint and wrapping it with exhaust wrap.

I also redid the motor mounts to clean things up and gain some hood clearance. I cut the flanges off my solid 4.6 mounts and welded them to some 1/4" flat stock.

I'm gonna go with f-body gauges. It seems to be the easiest and cheapest.

I'm using a 82-92 f body b&m console shifter. Made a plate out of 1/8" steel to cover where the existing manual shifter came through. Bolted the shifter to the plate. Looks like it will work good. used the b&m shifter cable and linkage as well.

My buddy ordered me a lokar as well. I hope it works for the 4l80e.

Painted the crossover and downpipe with some bbq paint. Wrapped them with some header wrap and threw on a couple more coats of bbq paint.

Got the radiator mounted

'04 ls6 cam and springs installed. Drill and tapped timing cover for the turbo oil drain.
.
Lastly, Wired and installed a Camaro instrument cluster. Lets just say if I ever wanna go back to stock, I'll have to get a new dash.
.
Shes coming together. Hoping to have it done in time for the Car craft summer nats.
