Default crankshaft pulley for carbed LS1

Looking for the part # for the special crank pulley that is used for a carbed LS1 that has front mounted dist.with the GM timing cover, there was a guy on here with an LS1 Mustang who gave out the Summit # but i can't find it now, pulley is small in diameter so it can clear the bottom of the funky shape of the timing cover.any help would be great so i can order one.

best bet is too contact sponsor SDPC--->
they will have all th info u need related to that cover, if im not mistaken u have to drill the crank snout and pin it to locate distributor timing reference and it uses a "spud" deal, and uses sbf dist. also but i dont remember, it was too much hassle imo.
i think the msd box is more practical

i'll be stopping by ATI next week to get some trans parts, if you want i can ck it out for you-i think if you add a -1 to the drill fixture part #, it locates on to the timing gear key, then the balancer lines up more like a s/b, crank gear, balancer all in a row

Stupid question, isn't the special pulley simply needed because of clearance with the distributor timing cover?
If so, wouldn't any smaller pulley, or maybe a truck pulley, which is spaced out farther, work?

was this pulley pressed on or did you have to key your crankshaft?

Here is the older blog with the pictures you are wanting.

http://www.mylrs.com/blogs/lrs/archi...ng-part-2.aspx

The Balancer has a provision for a keyway but to make things easy for me I'm just going to drill and stake it like you would do for a supercharged application.
