Not even a "click from the starter! Jumped the starter & motor turns.

Did you run the original underhood wire to the starter? Do you have a neutral safety switch that might not be closing?

Check the original starter wire and see if it has 12 volts when you hit the switch. If it does, pull the starter and have it tested.

wiring that should have 12v does except when you try to start the starter solenoid wire does NOT get power.....that goes back to the neutral safety switch (NO POWER) so it has to be between the ignition switch and the neutral safety switch is all I can think of.

Anyone know where the starter enable relay is on a damn 92 camaro???

all of my info says its behind the left finish panel. i dont know if its talking about the kick paneor the lower dash panel it will have a yellow drk green pink and black with yellow tracer.the yellow is voltage in drk green is voltage out the pick should have voltage in with the key on and the black/yellow is a ground from the vats system if you have all powers in but none out see if the b/y is grounded with key on if its not you probably have a vats prob. if you ground the wire it should enable the relay.

I had to bypass the Starter Relay in my 1995 for mine to work, it would want to turn but the Relay was not giving it enough power. I ran a 10ga Wire straight out of the Ignition Switch and through the Harness to the Starter. It works every time now. I bypassed the N/S Switch doing this as well cause someone had messed with that before I bought the car and messed all the Wiring for that up.

according to my wiring diagrams 90 up had a vats module that the actuates the starter enable relay, closing the circuit from ignition switch to n/s switch from there down to starter solenoid

your problem is probably in the vats system most likely in the sensor inside your lock cylinder if you dont care about the antitheft i would just leave it grounded.if you run into any more problems and need wiring info just pm me im a mechanic and have access to all kinds.
