Default TBI to TPI help

I have a 1994 chevy blazer that I have built a full roller 383 stroker for. The stock 42mm TBI system will not feed the beast. I have a TPI intake system with harness from a 1989 T/A that I would like to use for now. Can anyone tell me how I can use this system with my ECM?

You can't easily, you need either a 1227730 or 1227727 ECM to do it correctly

Where can I get my hands on one and what is involved after getting on? Also what is the difference between the two and mine?

You can find them on Ebay, craigslist, on the various F body forums.
Make sure you get the correct memcal of have somebody burn you one.
The ECM in your truck was never available with port injection, so you wouldn't find a memcal to run your TPI system, that would work in it

At that point can you just swap out the ECM and everything works like it shoud or is there a lot more to it that I am not understanding.

You're going to have to use the harness that belongs to the TPI and depending on how radical your 383 is you might need to get somebody to do a custom tume on the memcal

I will have to have it custom tuned. The wiring harness that you are referring to is that all harnesses or just the engine bay.

Just the engine wiring and you'll have to tie in to the OBD1 port under the fash and the service engine light. The center line of the cam is what effects the tune the most. The 383 ramjet setup I had was more radical then that and was controlled by a 730 ecm, so you should be able to make it work

Thank you for all the advice. I have built many carb engines but this is the first time I have tried to do any electronic fuel injection performance mods.
