Rx7/ls1

just finished today. 01 ls1/t56. long tube headers and cold air intake. ls2 flywheel and ls7 clutch. everything else is stock. .
all done!!! all i have to do is put the front bumper on and wait for the snow to melt

Very nice.....congratulations on the completion. I've always wanted to do this swap, but never been able to find a nice FD.

It looks more impressive in person, that motor does a nice job of filling the engine bay

thanks!!! and thanks for poconojoe for helping me with the computer issues!!!! i already had a nice FD but after blowing 2 rotary engines i figured it was time for a change!!

Fd's are getting older and they are also getting harder to find in clean condition...Not to mention, the Mazda interior plastics aren't so great, especially at this age, and not too cheap either.

tell me about it. i need the plastic piece that goes around the shifter. used they are going for 100+.....other then that the interior plastics are good in mine.

You are lucky! I just finished a friends Fd yesterday (blown engine) and his pass side interior door handle is broken. the shifter surround is broken, the DS ext. door handle has been replaced. Other than that it's ok...
