is that the AJE k-member? If so, I am pretty stoked because that engine is set back pretty far. I like it.

Yeah that is the AJE unitother than mine being a little tweaked "bought it used" the fit was great. Everything went where it was supposed to. I highly recomend using a F-Body, Vette, or some other shallow pan though.

Crank pulley is in the same location, however you have to use a smaller diameter balancer to clear the bulge and timing pointer.

I was going to buy the low profile 7qt Moroso pan. Has a windage tray and trap door, pretty neat piece. I have 2" drop spindles, so my car sits really low.

It looks like I can use a factory ford radiator too.

Do you have any pics of it from the side? I just want to see how close to the firewall it is. thanks

That is a Mishimoto radiator designed for the 79-93 fox cars. I will try and get a side shot of it. I have about 3/4" -1" clearance between the rear of the passenger side head and the firewall. The drivers side has more room.

The Meizere has openings for both sides of the water pump. I just used a factory Ford lower radiator hose for the fox mustang

The Front mount distributor kit comes with instructions and a template to drill the cam retainer plate for the oiling holes. At first I thought there was no way the 2 tiny holes would supply enough oil but I was wrong it provides more than enough.

I used a metric adapter and hooked up a mechanical oil pressure gauge where the stock sending unit would have gone on the back of the block.

what part number distributor did you use? any alterations to the distributor or pretty much just drop in?

what balancer part # did you use? I'm in the process of doing this and don't want to be ordering up the wrong parts, haha

Balancer is this one

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Distributor is a MSD-8579

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

it was a drop in unit. The Front mount conversion gives you a list of distributors you can use.

I don't know the part number of the oil pressure adapter I used it was just a brass fitting that had the OEM sending unit thread pitch on the male side and reduced it to a standard 3/8 NPT that is found on all the mechanical oil pressure gauges.
