I bet it is. I could not see running no mufflers on my car. That would be WAY to loud...

You are a hillbilly lol. I ran my old S10 with no mufflers and it sounded pretty cool but it was a 4.3.

I have not got it to a set of scales but I hoping for 2600lbs to 2700lbs. I will know in the next month or two. As soon as I can drive it around, I'm taking it to a guy who is going to help me scale the car on 4 corner scales.

Hahaha yeah i am a hillbilly

The 4 corner scales are really nice. I'd like to find someone locally who has them. I'm interested to see your weight distribution.

Me to. I'm a little disappointed about the motor location. I wish the guy would have moved it back a few inches. I can take the tranny bolts out from the top!! And the oil pan would have worked.

I just went through the wiring out in the garage. I got lucky and found the risistor. It is a 560ohm. You think that will work?

a 560 should be fine, im 99.9% sure i used a 480 though. I dont see more resistance hurting so long as it works lol.

Well i spent a couple hours today fighting with the Demon. I just swapped out my good running holley 750 yesterday so the demon isnt really tuned.

I am running 71 primary and 75 secondary (down from the 75/82 that was in it), 30 cc accelerator pumps, pink cams and 31 squirters. 4 corner idle screws were at 1 turn out which idled me about 12.0:1 and pissed me off then i turned them all in a 1/4 and and now it idles at 13.8:1 apparently they are very precise.

I am still running too lean with the jetting right now and i need to put a 5.0 PV in this carb instead of the 6.5 to get rid of a slight stumble. It cruises around 14.1-15:1 WOT goes lean to 18:1 when i stomp it from either the wrong PV or wrong cams on the pumps, but it holds 13:1 at WOT. I'm just turning with the AF today as i left my laptop at work so i cant change timing or see my engine vacuum so im just blindly tuning.

when i got my demon i took it apart just to be sure all the holes were drilled right and see what was in it. Demon likes to put the metering blocks on the wrong side and sure enough i had a power valve on my secondary side and none on my primary side. I highly suggest you take it apart and make sure its right lol. And replace all the gaskets with the holley blue gaskets which are re-usable. These float bowls also require the bolts to be REALLY tight. I Couldnt believe how tight i had to make them to get it to stop leaking my friend said it was normal, thats why they use bigger bolts than holley and have hex caps and not flatheads.

I got my alt back today. I had it repaired at a auto electric company. They put a new reg in it and bearings. They said they test them by putting 12v to the "I" plug. They said I do not need to put a resistor on it. I thought he was wrong.
I got home, put it on the motor and come to find out.... the wire was in the wrong spot on the plug. I switched it to th "I" on the plug and fired it up. Sure enough, it is charging fine now.
He was right. I have a 12v wire going the the exciter and it is working so far. I will be watching it over the next few weeks as I get it out on the road. The guy said the alt that I have is not a pcm controlled one.

I think the wire being in the wrong spot caused it to blow the reg.
