Good call - please either post up the answer here, or send me a PM when you get an answer...

Just finished with a rep. He said to call sales and ask for the kit in black. The PN would be SUM-PUMPKIT2B ('B' added to the end of the PN). Although they don't currently have one specified, so you can't find it on their website, they should be able to put it together.

I may do that, although I've got a Walbro 255 pump and 99+ 'Vette regulator that I'm using, so I need to find the adapters to use with those.

I'm using the same setup.
Summit sells the quick disconnects to AN fittings for the fuel rail and regulator inlet.
What do you plan on doing with the regulator fitting outlet line? I know there's a quick disconnect male fitting, but what to join that to?

I used Summit 3/8" aluminum tubing down the frame. From the tank to right by the lower control arm mount I ran -06 Aeroquip socketless, also from the firewall to the engine. Its simple, get a 37* flare tool from Summit, tube nuts and sleeves, and some -06 male to male fittings. Flare the aluminum line, connect the male to male, and connect the -06 hose end. I had my lines ran in about and hour and they look great.

I bought the Russell Quick-Connect/AN fittings (RUS-640863 for black 3/8" to -6 AN on the inlet, RUS-640853 for black 5/16" to -6AN return line) for the FPR (also RUS-640863 for the fuel rail connection). The outlet is a 3/8" female quick-connect fitting, and according to StuCool, you can use Dorman PN 107F with an NPT/AN adapter fitting or 800-155 cut in half with a compression/AN adapter fitting (Summit sells both).

Since I've got a fuel cell with -6AN fittings, I'm planning to go with the following:
*90° hose end attached to braided line --> TFX 40 micron filter --> Walbro 255 pump with Russell 10mm x 1.0 to AN adapters--> Vette FPR --> aluminum hard line to the front --> braided line to the rail
*For the return, it'll be braided line all the way back to another 90° hose end. The FPR will be near the back of the vehicle.

Russell makes an adapter to use on the 'Vette FPR outlet, PN 640940 (Second pic down - alternate view here) -- 3/8" hard line to -6AN. I called Summit (1.800.230.3030) and they can drop-ship them from CA. They're $12.39.

What would make you say that? Every single car I have ever built and 99% of them that I have seen, unless they are strictly a stocker, have been built with steel braided lines.

FYI, I ordered the Summit kit. It only comes with AN and a couple flare nut fittings, no compression fittings. I ordered a 37 degree flare tool and some extra nuts and sleeves and I'm going to all hard line except for the braided S/S to the fuel rail.

Sounds like you will have a top notch set up when you are done.

When using the Dorman fuel line piece (the 800-155) is there a retainer clip of some sort that is required to connect to the FPR?

Lots of guys using braided or socketless on the whole car have some permeation issues which makes your closed up garage stink like gas. You can use teflon lined braided. I will hard line.

Built into the outlet of the Corvette FPR. No need for any special clips. To disconnect the Dorman fuel line #800-155 you need a quick disconnect tool which you can purchase at Sears. The whole kit which includes the 3/8 quick disconnect is very inexpensive. I believe I only paid about $10 for the whole kit. I may be wrong on the price because it has been a while since I purchased it. The kit is made by Lisle and is part #37000.

Russell does not recommend using braided stainless steel line for the whole length of the fuel line because of this issue. The rep that I spoke to said that it will stink up your garage just like LS1NOVA said and I believe another poster has said. I believe it was Pop N Wood. Russell recommends their aluminum line which is actually cheaper than braided stainless steel. SS is ok for short runs. This is per Russells recommendations.

I just mapped out the whole run again and made a parts list- 19 fittings including the hard line . I will have about 5` of flex total, I'm not sure what hose to use -Russell proflex stainless or proclassic.

I did the same. I made a CAD drawing (ok, I modified the one by 67RSCamaroVette in MS paint) to show what I did. I've got a fuel cell already, so it was a little easier to begin with. I went with braided line to the FPR, then aluminum to the front, and braided to connect to the fuel rail.

I'm headed down the Corvette FPR route and want to minimize the number of fittings as well as a cleaner look. I'm running a repo 3/8" stainless hard line to the FPR.

Anyone tried or know of a source who can put the GM EFI fuel pressure "rib" or "kink" onto a stainless hard line so as to eliminate the adapter?

Likewise... any source for the EFI fitting directly to stainless flex line? A vendor could make some money with such a fitting and it shouldn't be that hard to do!
