Temp sensor in driver's side head & upgrade to latest design knock sensors (98's will work, but they suck & the PCM software will be written for the new knock sensors). There may be some more, but I don't recall any.

Do you mean the 02 speedo? Usually, the VSS from the trans goes to the PCM & then out to the speedo. If the speedo used does not accept any on the GM PCM outputs, then either a Dakota unit or an after market speedo are used. What speedo are you using?

If you want to use the 02 harness you will need to get a 02 cluster and re-wire it as well as a new fuel sending unit. If you re-pin your 98 harness you can keep the old cluster and if you have efilive or access to it you can keep your old fuel sending unit too.

Can you be more specific? What do you mean by car? Do you mean to the dash cluster, transmission, OBDII connector? Do you mean from the PCM to the interior electronics?
