Default Corvette FPR users, I need some help

Ok, I somehow thought this would be easy, but I cant find anywhere to mount this thing under the hood of a 4th gen. Anyone done this? Also what type of fuel line did you use, I bought a bunch of plastic but it is a ROYAL PAIN to work with and I keep kinking it.....

Help?!?

I mounted mine in the stock location under the car and redid the lines to the engine. I saw pics of a few under the hood mounting jobs and they all looked like ***. I wanted my swap to look as stock as possible.

Thats my filter/reg install. I don't have any pics of the line to the rail, but I used stock LS1 pieces for a factory OE look.

Question, why would you need to use a Vette FPR.. the 4th Gen F-Body have a single feed line setup with the pump and regulator in the tank. No return line is needed.

Are you removing the Stock F-Body setup, adding a return line to the car and tank ?

This was a v6 car, they had returns.

RE AND CHERYLa, when you cut the factory lines how did you connect them to the fpr?

LOL.. yeah.. so.. as they used to say.. just the fact's ! and all of them !

Doman does make a repair kit for the GM plastic lines, might look into one of those and fab up what you need. other options are braided lines with AN fitting, compression fitting and maybe some hard tubing.

I am sure somebody will give you a idea for you of where to put it and what to use.! good luck

The feed line to the original filter connected right to the Vette filter. I scrounged a piece of that plastic line with the correct end on it for the return and connected it to the stock plastic return line near the tank with a compression fitting. The steel lines running up front were LS1 lines modified to connect to the Vette filter.
