I remember being told they came out of a Super-Duty Ford, but now that I think about it those trucks dont even have electric fans. This was in 2002.

i run an intercooler along with a procharger, and it cools fine-one fan uses a relay and a sensor, the other i can operat man. with a relay and switch-i might switch to an adjustable thermo. for the main fan, kicks in higher than i would prefer

It also can be manually activated with a switch or when the AC comes on by using the blue wire on the controller.
To set the temps low and high speeds, Just push the buttons at the temp you want the fans to activate.

It can control two fan if setup with the optional relay, I was able to use the stock OEM LS1 sensor as input to the controller.

). It moves a lot of air but it is only a single fan. It also has a high and a low trigger (3 wires). Not exactly sure how I want to wire up the 3 relay fan switching system on the LS1 PCM. I'll figure it out when I get to it.Be careful on this... the high side circuit draws A LOT of current. I toasted a Bosch 40amp relay in the middle or S. California rush hour traffic. I'm currently only using the low side now and still am able to stay below 190 D. I don't think you will need the high setting but might be good to wire it up anyway.
I'm using a stock copper radiator equivalent.
