Default Question on single bolt or two bolt T56 transmission mount.

I'm putting an LS motor in my Studebaker Avanti. Using C6 Corvette engine stands, with Competition Engineering poly motor mount biscuits.

I have a T-56 bolted to the LS motor, and have a question on the rear transmission mount. I have seen the LS Camaro's with T56 utilizing a single bolt mount to the chassis. I have also seen the earlier LT1 engines with T-56 using a two bolt mount to the chassis.

What driveline consideration determines whether a single bolt or two bolt transmission mount is used? Does it have something to do with how the front engine mounts are configured?

Our T56 is from a 2002 WS6 and it used 2 bolt mount.

I've done it both ways on crossmembers I've built for autos and manuals with no problems. I use the energy suspension mount. I always use grade 8 bolts when I use the single bolt or double bolt. Just do what fits and forget about it. You'll be fine.
