I just got an autokraft oil pan and I did not receive any instructions. My question is do I use the stock windage tray or not? Will the pick up tube be fine with out the windage tray? Also do I have to do anything to make the dip stick tube work? Thanks in advance!

I used the stock truck windage tray and did not modify my dipstick tube at all. I picked up some allen headed cap screws and torqued the pan on to specs.

I just installed an Autokraft pan on my LS1 with the Edelbrock conversion and you need to check to make sure that all of the pan bolts on the drivers side are drilled and tapped. The oil filter adapter came into conflict with the header and I had to modify the block off plate so it would clear and also not get too hot.

thanks for the heads up. im waiting on a set of brp headers right now. i will check for clearance when they get in.
