Hey I was wondering whats the best way to paint a aluminum block as far as materials go and procedures... I am just waiting to paint the block and want to know what primer etc base will hold up the best. I want to know the best rattel can and best spray gun products.

VHT High Temp Engine Block Paint from any auto parts store. 500 degree should work just fine, but they also have a 1200 degree version should you feel the need to use that. They have a wide range of colors too. No need for primer also, just degrease, tape off bores/deck and spray.
