question on 5.3
From my understanding there is no real difference in the bottom end strength of a LS1 vs. 5.3 and people spray 200+ on those all the time. That said 150 is generally considered the "safe" limit but there are plenty of people with 200s. Usually when I see someone with a 200 shot setup on a stock motor they put 100+ octane in the tank or run a standalone fuel cell with 100+ for the nitrous.
The "good" thing is that those 5.3s are dirt cheap and readily available so if you were to blow it up it wouldn't cost much to replace

you will get 6-7 good runs and need to refill the bottle at about $42.00 each
time. turbo is a little more forgiving. what car do you have? any good front
mount turbo setup will work. what parts do you have right now!?!????

this is going to go into a 1984 camaro that i just got for $100. Right now I am in the planning stages of everything. I don't have any parts for it at the moment.
car will fastest with this setup a stock 5.3 with ls6 cam and springs with fuel system and blow throw carb on E85 fuel with tc76 turbo kit, should pump around 700hp to the tire with a well built th350 cheap!!!!!!!!!!!! $8000.00

8k I would rather out that into a 6liter
that could build a nasty 4xx c.i. 6.0l on a lot of gas. Did I mention that this was going to be a budget build. I want to try and see how fast i can go as cheap as i can.
ok, i will have to check them out when i get to that point. right now i am doing all of the free stuff that i can to the car for weight reduction. it is pretty much a shell right now. i need to get rid of this 700r4 for 2.8l
3070 lbs with 3/4 tank of fuel.
It has a T56 and 4.10 gears right now. I'm probably leaving well over 1/2 second and 2-3 mph on the ground just with that. It will be getting a Ford 8.8 with 3.55 gears soon. Mid/low 10s should be quite possible at 135-140 mph range with 14-15 lbs of intercooled, meth cooled boost.
