From my understanding there is no real difference in the bottom end strength of a LS1 vs. 5.3 and people spray 200+ on those all the time. That said 150 is generally considered the "safe" limit but there are plenty of people with 200s. Usually when I see someone with a 200 shot setup on a stock motor they put 100+ octane in the tank or run a standalone fuel cell with 100+ for the nitrous.

The "good" thing is that those 5.3s are dirt cheap and readily available so if you were to blow it up it wouldn't cost much to replace

you will get 6-7 good runs and need to refill the bottle at about $42.00 each
time. turbo is a little more forgiving. what car do you have? any good front
mount turbo setup will work. what parts do you have right now!?!????

that could build a nasty 4xx c.i. 6.0l on a lot of gas. Did I mention that this was going to be a budget build. I want to try and see how fast i can go as cheap as i can.

Yes, 1988 Mazda RX7.

3070 lbs with 3/4 tank of fuel.

It has a T56 and 4.10 gears right now. I'm probably leaving well over 1/2 second and 2-3 mph on the ground just with that. It will be getting a Ford 8.8 with 3.55 gears soon. Mid/low 10s should be quite possible at 135-140 mph range with 14-15 lbs of intercooled, meth cooled boost.
