yeah I'm going to do some sort of glove box, and eventually hide a heater/ blower back there. I'm not really saving space for anything, its just that nothing is going to be there, therefore I don't need to have access to anything under there, plus its all going to be eaisly removable.

That dash rocks. Nice Starquest too, thanks for taking the time to post your build.

update. Almost ready to fire this ***** after 2.5 years of building. Got the fuel system almost done(waiting on 2 fittings) I kinda got my brakes figured out I got a mustang gt brake booster fitted should have that all taken care of this weekend. The interior is coming along nicely. Black suede with red stitching and a nice blend of CF to come(its just mocked up in the pic). Just got to finish the wiring. I also made a new shifter.

Looking great! Let me know if you still need a wiring guy. A friend of mine has a shop in the metro area and there are other guys in my carclub that do that stuff too. PM me and I can get you some info.

Convette I just wanted to say that after seeing this build I really liked the look of these cars, I had only heard of them once before this. So since I pulled my running 350 from my chevelle I was racking my brain for something I could put it in and your build made up my mind for me. I found a guy who was ready to haul a rolling chassis off to the scrap yard and he said I could have it for less than scrap price just to keep it alive lol so I'm very glad you did all this detail in your post because it'll really help me in my little project. keep up the good work

Thanks man. good luck with your project. Good to see someone keeping them out of the scrap yard.

Got a little more done this weekend. Ready to start it anyday now. Just got to get the tank back up in there and connect the fuel lines. I got my gauges in on sat so I've been f-ing around with those. I didn't want to start it before I had my oil pressure gauge hooked up correctly.

waiting to wrap the suede on there cause I don't want to **** it up.

Looks great, It will be an awesome ride.

Here's some pics of mine. I built it almost 10 years ago.

It was an old school 355, Chevy II oil pan, camel backs, solid lifter cam and a 150 shot.

It was like riding a skateboard with a jet back on your back.

Update Update ITS ALIVE!!
Finally got it up and running this past week. It sounds like the world is coming to an end....lol Oil pressure is good, just got the coolent system done and burped... Runs nice and cool with this rad. So far so good. I got to pick up my steering knuckles from the machine shop hopefully tomorrow. All thats left is the drive shaft and power steering lines. The interior is going in this week, got all the wiring done finally, (wrapped and tucked). Heres a quick video.. Open headers right now, waiting to get my driveshaft before I put the exhaust on.
