Default Doing a Swap on a Budget Question...

Ok, I bought a "low mile" 5.3 thats been run in another swap car probably 5 times down the track and has about 30k miles on it has had no N2O run on it just stock w/ ls1 cam. What I am wondering is, since a ring kit is so cheap and bearings arent, if I hone and re-ring this motor, can I reuse the bearings if they are all in good shape? Is there any problems I may have by doing this? Any tricks? Thanks.

Why not just run it as is? 30k on the clock leaves a lot of life left.

x5...........Run it as is. If you feel you must put rings in it then change the bearings, no sense building it twice.

Does it have a barcoded sticker on the back of one of the heads? If it does I believe the # on there is the vin, so the dealer can decode it and tell the year.
