Good news is coming on all over. Got my brakes in order. Car stops better than it has in a long time. Got the day tomorrow to clean and pack; then bright and early Wednesday I will be heading up the hill. I should be at the Grand Sierra by 10 or so.

See you there!

I saw bczee over at A&w on thursday, sorry I couldnt stay & talk but men were yelling that they wanted the women & the car back at the garage,& met james he was in our garage.

Man it turned nasty on us.

Ran in to a couple fire spots on the way down, The buick over heated & 2 blocks from summit the cap & rotor went. oh well.
Just got home.

Really sorry we missed you too. We did the Poker run in the rain and even a little hail. Much less fun than usual, but now we have stories to tell!. What wierd weather for August in Reno! but Friday, Saturday and Sunday were gorgeous. Had a great time hanging with Chris442 and his dad Greg, bczee went with us to the swap meet and we got to hang out some other times too. Got to meet Dwight and his lovely bride after their long trek down Route 66 from Michigan and his 57, Chris and Greg's Camaro and my Stude were all bunched together in the parade on Sunday. Also got to talk Kwhizz and Wardrum. I do think attendance was down crowd wise, but still plenty of awesome cars. I will post a link to some pictures I took later. I just got home and need to chill out for a bit.

Hope all who are still on their way home have a safe trip

Pat

Got back to morning also, left Reno around 8:30 and was back in Concord in less that 3 hours, not sure of the mileage I got.. speedo doesn't work.. but I just used one tank of Gas 20-24 gallon or so.. Not bad for the 400 mile round trip and with all of the curising for 4 days and nights.

I will get some of my picture posted once I have recovered from all..

Hey, I think I know that car! This one?

If that's the one, thanks for the compliment; we put a lot of work in to get to where it is.
