Default 04 gto motor in 72 camaro help

hi, i'm new to the forums. i'm 17 years old and i'm building a 72 camaro supersport protouring/road race car. i found a supercharged 04 gto motor and 6 speed transmission with 16,000 miles. and i'm hoping to buy it this weekend. what are the major things i'm going to be looking at doing this build?
i don't want to notch my frame so i found these brakets
http://www.kwikperf.com/lsx_ac.html
i found this conversion kit
http://www.brphotrods.com/1970-1981%...0firebird.html
also, what should i do for fuel system/tank. can i use a stock tank with an electric fuel pump? can i use the gto tranny without beating up my transmission tunnel and such? i know as well i need to use a newer camaro oil pan for the motor. will this all clear with no modifications to the chassie?

thanks,
Joe

some of the same info found in the 1gen camaro build ups will translate to a 2gen. Nastyz28.com has some info as well as here.

The Kwik brackets are good and cheap for relocating the the A/C. Your wallet will be much happier with a set of $60 adapter plates from either Edelbrock or Trans-dapt. There is no need to spend close to $500 for a conversion kit when the adapter plates and F-body oil pans work great in our cars.

As for the fuel tank you can get a bolt in EFI tank made by spectre for around $500 from rock-auto. You can also rework a 3rd gen. Camaro sending unit into your stock tank but you will need a new fuel pump and you will have to fabricate some kind of baffling system.

Try doing a search in this forum for 2nd gens and you will find alot of info... and like mentioned above, nastyz28.com is a great place to go also.

I'm running a 5.3 pan for an H3 Hummer in my 1971. works great plenty of room. I did a search and found the part number and it was only about $140 + the pickup.
