Trying to get the Center of gravity as low as possible, plus it gives me plenty of room for the turbo up top.
Sure it only takes about 5 mins to do the swap once you have the alt out. your going to need part # d702se from (http://www.db-starter-alternator.com/). They have them in stock for 19.95. Remove the back cover to the alt there are only 2 screws and one solder point you have to heat up to be able to swap parts. replace with the new one, solder and your done. at that point its a one wire to the battery setup. Super simple to do.

looks friggin great man, i am swapping in a 5.3 i picked up from a 06 avalanche with 29k miles into my 06 rubicon unlimited, had not planned on a power adder but that turbo on yours has got me thinking-- really professional looking work man really

looking good i put a 5.3 in my yj it runs really well i think it would be scary but fun with a turbo i hope u still dont have the dana 30 in the rear because i dont think it will last long
