Does anyone have any info on the LS3 pans? I need an Fbody pan but can't find one cheap enough. I have the chance to buy an LS3 pan.

Is it dimensionally close to the Fbody pan?

If not, and I can find an Fbody pan, does anyone have details as far where it needs to be notched and the pickup tube cut?

I can't weld but If I have the info, maybe I can find someone locally to weld it instead of S&P doing it and save a few bucks.

Whats it going into???? If its a tri-five the LH8 5.3L pan will fit its in the oil pan sticky and is $100 bucks.

any info about this with measurement? I need to buy ls3 for bmw e36 and fbody fit ok. If differences is small maybe i dont need to buy fbody pan.

they dont have the ls3 specs up but theres a ton of info there
