Mercedes W202 just begs for an LSX
These cars are cheap as hell because once the motor or trans goes bad they are worth manly as scrap or parts. most of them you'll find that don't run are right at or under $1,000. I originally started this as a GRM$2010 project and decided i wanted to do it right instead of cheap.
everyone says the perfect mate is an E36 BMW I'd like to prove them wrong

I am doing a 5.3 l33 motor into a Gt40 inspired kit car. Its supposed to come out at 1800 lbs and 310 HP (cant afford a real gt40 for some reason so I am using the valkyrie)
That being said...
My vote is for a twin turbo 4.8 chevette. put a big high winding cam in there and drive it like a ricer.
