5.3L LM7 in a '60-'66 Chev truck...
Will F car exhaust manifolds bolt on this engine directly ?
The '03 5.3 truck engine that I have installed is wide at the exhaust flanges and I've heard that the F car manifolds are narrower at the flanges. I have notched the frame for the manifolds, but it looks like it'll be tough to bolt exhaust on.
Also, does anyone know where I can obtain A/C compressor HI/LO fittings for the 5.3's Denso compressor. The compressor tucks into the RH frame rail and I really hate the idea of notching the frame in this area.

So they bolt right on, but are the exhaust flanges indeed narrower to offer more clearance at my frame? I'm not sure how to include photos at this time, I'll have to figure that out when I have time.

But my frame clearance will not allow these fittings either. I literally have only 1.250" to work with. I've ordered some from Doc's Blocks that are supposed to fit, they have tubes that come out of the fitting at an immediate right angle and are less than an inch tall. We'll see.

The F car manifold was the answer for the LH exhaust clearance issue.
The A/C fittings from Docs had to be modified to fit the tight spot that my compressor is in.
