My poor car has been under the knife afew times.

yes a T56 will bolt right up to a 4.8, 5.3 or a 6.0 truck motor. For the most part anything you can use on a ls1 you can use on a truck motor.

Got my oil pan today so hoping to get out there this weekend and start getting it all bolted in and hope I can get the headers to work.

Cut up and welded 5.3 pan




Had a 1" kick out put on so It will hold alittle more oil.

Been a while, have changed it all afew times since I last updated this. Got the motor where I happy with it and said F it lets put a turbo on it

Sooooo, what's the progress, I am very interested in this car because I am doing a 2003 350Z w/ 05 GTO/T56 Swap now.... I have the Wiring harness, tach, header back exhaust, fuel system decision & A/C left to do on mine....... Can't wait to drive this thing!!

1st start was yesterday and I got to drive it down the road (about a 1/2 mile or so)!

Now to start working out the bugs.

1st motor was junk so swapped it out over the weekend with another junkyard 5.3.

Gonna get it tuned in the next week or two and then some full boost vids, planning on running around 15psi

I had alot of people asking about how loud the it was with it dumped out the drivers side bumper so I just made a little vid (this is with both windows down

well looks like I have not updated this in along time. car has had abunch of changes since I updated this last.

Guess we will skip everything and go to the current setup
03 350Z , 3580LB race weight
All stock suspension and rear end
gen 4 4.8 with stock 862 heads
BTR stage 2 turbo cam ( not the 4.8 cam)
LS6 intake
On3 88mm with tiny ebay intercooler
75 shot to help spool and these passes were at 25lbs of boost
E85 mixed with c16 (cut down to 55% )
Foot brake
PTC built th350 and a FTI converter
