Default Ford to Chevy universal joint?

do they make a universal joint that goes from a ford drive shaft to chevy yoke?

yes.. you just need to measure the distance from outside cap to cap and also the dia of the cap for each side of the U-joint.. you can then go to a drive line shop, parts store or if you can get a catalog of U-Joint manufactures. you can cross reference to the one that will work for you.

Some of the aftermarket manufactures will market the Conversion U-Joint.

I did a 57 chevy drive shaft to a 57 Ponitac rear end before.

Right now I am using a Dodge Van Drive shaft (was able to match up my Viper Trans yoke and the drive shaft and was long enough to cut down to the right size and then used a U-joint that worked and fit the Chevy 12 bolt rear yoke.

Rockford sells all types of conversion u-joints.

again, you do need to know your measurements!

Most parts store will have catalogs, see if they will let you look at them or assist you with finding what you need.. It was a common thing back in the old day when hot rodding was rolling your own with with you could find or was better than what you had.. That is why I put a 57 Pontiac rear end in my 57 chevy.. big and heavy...!

I got mine from napa when i put my S10 driveshaft to my ford 8.8 rear end. I cant remember the part number but it wasn't to hard to figure out.
